The Kaltek language is an extinct language once spoken by the Kaltek people in 4000 BK - 500 AK.
The Kaltek language is considered to be a language isolate, it is not closed to the geographically close Tiledem languages, although some linguistics suggest that the Akan language of the Great Whale Island, which is also considered to be a language isolate, might be related to the now-extinct Kaltek language.
Although the Kaltek language is extinct, most of its vocabulary and grammar has been well-studied by linguistics, as the Kaltek language was one of the first languages with a writing system, and the finding of the Autumn Ford Islet Stele which is bilingual in the Kaltek language and a Tiledem language at the Autumn Ford Islet area of the Great Whale Island[1]. The Autumn Ford Islet Stele is critical in deciphering the Kaltek logogram, the script used to write Classical Kaltek.
The Kaltek language evolved from time to time, there are at least two stages of the Kaltek language, Classical Kaltek(also called Old Kaltek) and Late Kaltek.
