Amalan (Proto-Latian: *mālan) is one of Teles' continents.
The continent is currently inhabited by three major language families: The Latian languages, the Ydtobogȧntiaky Languages and the Gigxpoyan languages
Etymology[]
The word Amalan is an Amutetikam adaptation of the Proto-Latian word *mālam meaning land. The term was used by the Latian people to refer only to the western coast of the continent, where they inhabited it. However, the Amutetikam people took the word to refer to the entire continent.
